Heeeyyyyyyy! Everytime I am behind someone going 25 in a 50 its always a man buddy!!! Had a tad bit of road rage about 3 weeks ago. This freaking idiot was seriously going 25 in a 50, I finally get up beside him because of course there was an idiot in the other lane going just as slow but he was old so I didnt cuss him. :D Well I pull up beside him roll down my window and make the sign for him to do the same. I dont know if he thought I was gonna flirt with him or what but he has this big grin on his face and says "Hey whats up", I told him "Ya know what, if you would get off that F**king cell phone there wouldnt be a damn parade procession behind you idiot!!" The look on his face was priceless and I felt tons better. :D

Both walked into the circle with cell phones stuck to their faces. The man hung up but the woman kept right on talking through the whole thing including when the photo was taken.

I thought it was very disrespectful. There's just something old school about being able to stand with your winning horse and have your photo taken while showing your pride in being his/her owner. It's a proud moment captured in time and after you have spent all the money you win from the purse, you still have that great photo to stare at with admiration for years to come.

But now, in my photo, there's some b***h who felt it was more important to talk to Kathy about her shopping trip yesterday morning than it was to respect the horse and the other partners.

Am I just being an old grumpy fart? Or, should I have knocked the phone from her hands and stepped on it?

Yes its rude and yes you should have told her you would appreciate a picture without a cell phone sticking out of her ear.;)

Terribly disrespectful and rude.

I'd like to think I would have said something, asked her to please can it just for the picture, but I've never been in that situation and so honestly probably would have been too stunned and disgusted to actually say anything to her.

Congrats on your win though..... how exciting!

Don't let these people ruin such a special day for you. I'd be tempted to photoshop them out as well, but it was part of the moment and look at it this way..... years from now, when you have many many win pictures? It'll make a helluva story.

Maybe someday someone will write your biography and they'll include it, and this individual will live on forever as the classless and crass person she apparently is.

Notic I said person

Not Man or Woman. Men are just as capable of driving slow as women.

That wasn't a sexist comment.
