I think Byk has already said it before.
Jackson Bend would be a perfect horse to point for the other Derby's. he could really make a lot of $$$ if spotted right this year. |
NBC revealed it's Derby/Preakness broadcast team today:
Bob Costas, Tom Hammond, Gary Stevens, Donna Brothers, Kenny Rice, Bob Neumeier, Mike Battaglia |

Every time I watch Jackson Bend come (no pun intended) ITM I think about taking him more seriously. I guess this thread is the icing on the cake (no pun...nevermind).

Hammonds finally told him, 'it is Stately Victor, not Stately Warrior.' |

Mike Smith on Jackson Bend if he gets in per DRF

WinStar has most of their Derby riders firmed up. Albarado will be on Endorsement and Borel on Super Saver, no surprises there.
The only WinStar horse with no rider so far is Rule but I think Dominguez is getting the mount. NT |
I never know what to make of jockey decisions, but it is interesting to note that Albarado is going with Endorsement regardless of what happens with Noble's Promise.

If Borel somehow gets his 3rd Derby aboard Super Saver then he is officially the greatest jockey to ride at CD:) NT |
Borel posted on his Facebook this morning that he is on Super Saver.

But Johnny V can win you the close one with the come again dueler. Of course, this only happens when the Pletcher good stuff is flowing.
Someone asked me why I refer to jocks, in general, as 'RETARDS'. I challenge anyone (with some knowledge of trips) to watch a few of Albarado's rides and come up with another explanation for them. |

All I know is Super Saver will be on some of my tickets just cause of Borel.
What I am saying-the guy could ride a mule in the KD and I wouldnt toss him |
