He couldn't get over the farm Sunday. He'll see him sometime in the next week to 10 days...

Or sooner... Just finished visit to Lloydobler with Dr. Allday. He says Lloyd has a muscle strain over the left rear hip. He wants him to stay at the farm another 10 days to rest and then will start working on him back at the racetrack. More when I get a chance, but not a major problem.

That is great news Steve, hopefully he will heal up quickly! Thanks for the update.

We went out to Stonegate on Thursday to visit LD. It's just 5 miles away from us.

The last time we saw him was just a day after he arrived there. He was somewhat puzzled and less than accepting of any more sensory overload, so we pretty miuch left him alone.

Totally different this time around. Wasn't sure which treat he'd like - Mrs. Pasture's treats, peppermints (green and red), carrots, or apples. So, we brought a bit of each, and he did not turn his nose up at any. He likes to hang out in his run-in shed as he abhors flies. Chris brought him out for us to get a better look at him. There was one fly flying around him, and he was not a happy camper, but that didn't stop him from accepting treats. He's a very gentle boy.

We had to also bring treats for the barn dog and cat that begged our attention from the second we got out of the car.

Chris really a very nice lady - very welcoming and accommodating.

Lloyd looks good. He looks like he dropped a little weight, but he still looks good. I hope the muscle strain is all better and that he can return to training pain-free sometime soon.
