These two hostages both work with and are friends with my sister. She sent me a link to a youtube video about it last week but I was at work so couldn't access it and forgot about it until I went to dinner with my parents tonight and they brought it up. Kinda crazy to think about.

outside of dell chowing down the occasional liberal reporter that accidently wandered into his yard, i try not to judge.

Dogs are bred to be intelligent, and to love humans. They pick up on the slightest move you make. They are constantly looking for very minor clues to let them know when their human friends are going to do something. I turn a knob to cut the power to speakers(that already have the volume turned off,) and they know what that slight click means(going to bed.) Some animals are bred for intelligence, and some are bred to be food. Dogs aren't food. You have to be a savage to want to eat that. They are smart. They would go through complete terror long before they die(that's especially true if they were killed for meat.... can't use poison.) What Mike Vick did is not the same as killing a cow. Slamming a dog into the ground can't be compared to killing a damn stupid cow.

i don't advocate eating rover.

but if the test for eat/don't eat is intelligence then pigs ought to be off the menu before dogs.

of course, most of us don't have a pig wandering around the living room so there isn't the same emotional connection.

we try to distance ourselves from the reality of suffering that's intrinsic in all meat consumption. is it really okay to eat cows because they're the retarded kid of the animal world? they deserve slaughter for their stupidity?

i'm not a vegetarian. humans have canine teeth (those sharp pointy ones 3rd over from the front) and their only use is tearing meat. cows don't have them.

i just know that along with millions of years of evolution resulting in a predilection to eat a varied diet including meat, my choice of which meat has everything to do with where i was born.

same with the dog eater's bob met.

all animals suffer at slaughter. cows. pigs. dogs. cats. horses. it's the nature of our world. no one is better than someone else because of the meat they don't eat.

I think cats are smarter than dogs because they can't be trained...Doesn't it say something when you can teach a dog to roll over and a cat will just look at you and laugh?

just like a kid in school who stares out the window while the stupid kids are all taking their tests? I get the logic now.

Who survives on their own outside and who doesn't?

You'd be high up on the list of candidates best capable of teaching OBAMIC METHODS. You teach the theory portion, and get someone else to teach the communication methods(poor temper management/spewing venom etc. makes you an inappropriate choice for that portion of the course.)

i've called you nuts over your unhealthy obsession with all things turk but outside of that i thought most of our conversations had been civil.

you're pretty direct and i don't mind our back and forth.

you really think i spew venom?

See, this comment is the type of thing you like to do. I call it venom, but characterize it the way you want. Most of the time, you're an aggressive rebounder that hates anything that strays from the middle. When you get bored with that, you stick up for scum in far away lands (using the ever-present excuse that we don't understand their culture.) This is what was going on when you tried to stick up for dog eaters.

Cats are smarter than most people. They won't roll over unless they want to!

Not always.
This is sick.

Michael Vick and these people should party together.

Inbreeding for specific physical characteristics when you
know it will put the animal through all kinds of physical
pain... is dog fighting worse?
