In fact, back in college, I once went to the California state republican convention (I have always and always will be libertarian though!) in a suit but wore my hiking boots to the convention.

I remember being in the elevator with Pat Buchanon and his sister Bay. They were polite and friendly, but I don't think Bay liked my shoe selection.

back to shoes... Just looked up the MBT shoes and they look awesome. i have terrible lower back, neck and shoulder pain like 24/7 I wonder if they would help... might have save some extra $ to get them though..

I dont understand my friend who has 4.2 million outfits and a pair of shoes to go along with every outfit. And she complains she has no money, but single handidly keeps the mall going through the reccession.

Lori, I think he's in the tennis shoes part of the country. They are sneakers in my house too.

In my closet:

1 - Old work boots for lawn mowing (in the garage)
1 - Work boots for.....work
1 - Casual for working in the office
1 - Dress (basically the same reason as IC, worn 1-2 times a year)
1 - Sneakers
10+ - Flip flops
