Imported below from another thread. Latest thought, apparently, is to enter for next Friday, May Day.

bump, is today the draw? Still aiming for Friday?

I have to know if I should start sweet talkin' the wife for a mini vacay. ;)

Kasept 04-26-2009 09:26 AM

KNS was entered for Friday at ACRC and the race will go according to Sal Sinatra. She would run 'trained by' Sandra Danford as Chuck isn't licensed in Jersey. Sinatra thinks there she will get in as there were 10 entered with entries about to close.

I'm in

Looks like I am heading down 95 Thursday a.m. Looking forward to seeing the other DTers and our girl KNS

PatCummings 04-26-2009 08:22 PM

For those who have never been, there is simulcast wagering there. Very easy to get to - right off the AC Expressway. Should be a good time. Hope everyone enjoys it. You can get real close to the horses in the walking ring which is behind the track and they go through a tunnel to come out. We had over 5,000 there last Friday.

Hickory Hill Hoff 04-26-2009 08:47 PM

Was planning on Friday, so gotta juggle some things around to go Thursday. Think I'll be able to make it.

On the van to Philadelphia Park now.

Sharon Banford will handle her for us at Philly and AC.

Heels1989 04-28-2009 02:16 PM

Any other of Team Simon's most excellent support staff making the trip with KnS?

Hickory Hill Hoff 04-28-2009 03:18 PM

Who will be attending???

Who will be coordinating the festives at AC on Thursday and where will everybody be meeting.
I wanted head out at 7:30am from the Sand Flats and would like to get there around 2pm.

I'll be leaving the Boston area at around that time, too and should arrive at ACRC around the same time. Not sure who else is going, many regulars sound like they are heading to KY. Since I haven't heard anything yet, I just assume hang around the paddock before the race and see other people. Sometimes I am lucky and recognize a person or two before I get to the paddock.

Sent this Email to partners just now...

I have been buried in Louisville and remiss not getting this out earlier, but I hope all are aware that Kickin N Screamin goes Thursday at Atlantic City... It was a rare and unique opportunity for us to run at this historic track, and it turned out to be a very iteresting spot. KNS is 8-1 fifth choice, but looks to be very competitive in this. A number of crazy entrants in there.

Those attending, Sal Sinatra, the Philly Park racing secretary that writes the ACRC races, has reserved a hospitality tent for you! I think Tony Black, the 20th winningest rider in racing history with over 5,100 wins, is going to come down and act as our host too... More on DT!

This should be tremendous fun and the kind of special experience we hoped to provide with Dee Tee Stables. I'm very disappointed I cannot attend. Hope the weather is OK...

Can't wait to meet Tony Black. Would love to have had him in the irons for the ride.

This sounds fun! We are getting some of the rain in Western PA. Would they cancel if it continues to rain?
