The wind blew here in Central Ohio today for a good 4 or 5 hours straight at like 40 or 50 mph with gusts over 60. All kinds of roof damage around where I live. Wow. Ike kicked some assssssssssssssss.

Tropical Storm Ike did some damage here. 8 hour power outage and a state of emergency in Owensbored.

O.k..I am back home and running on a generator..No damage :)
Gas is scarse and so is ice, but it is not as bad as Rita was 3yrs ago.. I have all the comforts here at home now, but no A/C..yet.. May get a bigger generator today or tomorrow to hook up. I am able to obviously use the computer, take hot showers and do some cooking.. So not doing too bad here all in all. I feel soory for the folks that sold their generators after Rita because I bet they are wishing they had'nt right about now..
Anyhow.. Just wanted to check in and give ya'll an update :)
