I guess Im just still caught up in just being involved here because I thought the three biggest races on the card had great finish. I dont look at the form enough to know who really did and didnt show up for the races, I guess you could say Im blinkers on. :)

hmmm...I don't think so. It's hard to sugarcoat a narrow win against Third Dawn and the rest of that collection of subpar 3YOs. I'd love to see Rachel Alexandra vs. Stardom Bound right now.

I don't have the patience to read this thread.....but I hope nobody was impressed with Stardom Bound's final career win today.

Restricted G1 racing.

No filly who wins a G1 race is a piece of crap......but this year's crop of 3 year old males would destroy her. She's an above average filly, and should race against fillies the rest of the year.

I think that is the problem. She is always going to be 15 wide with her style and that jock. I think she's screwed in a full field on the dirt.

Scav 03-08-2009 10:04 AM

I might take an opposite stance in that maybe Smith realizes that they might be catching up with her and he won't be able to go 10 wide next time. Will hopefully ride a different race. I still pray for her to take on Rachel Alexandra on dirt.

I think its reasonable, if not likely, that she moves forward on dirt. I know she has been winning on synthetic but I like her action for dirt better. Now I dont think she wants to go any further then 9 furlongs and probably would be best suited to one turn sprinting at a mile at Belmont. A race like the Acorn sounds like a perfect spot.

oh boy, that would be fun message board fodder.

Why is it that men who want to insult another man call him a woman, then wonder why actual women feel insulted, too?

It's because you have assumed that all women have the same flaws of character you perceive in the subject of your insult. If you think Mr. Rash (with whom I am unfamiliar) is timid, or emotional, or inconsistent, or a poor trainer, or just plain stupid, that is your concern, but when you decide that such characteristics are found only in females and in all females, I'm not going to let it pass. Grow up, children.

Rodney Rash was a homosexual who died of aids about 10 years ago. I said it was cold meaning not very nice.
