I had the right idea, wrong horse. I liked the 5 to close as well, but wanted more than 5-1. You are right, never lifted a hoof with a perfect setup.

If your playing to beat the favs I liked the 4 and 5 but played the odds horse. Got the meltdown I expected but Valdivia didn't get him relax early.......

Exactly I'll take the 34-1 every-time over the 5-1 who I like equally. Agreed the 5-1 was too short

Yeah I know these guys like to set up the price at times! The 2's numbers were way beyond anything else in the field. Both previous races were on (soft) so it's possible that he didn't take to todays going.. But then If I were bringing a horse over I'd probably know that before-hand...... I'm thinking they're setting up a price and purse.
