How About An Update On Podcast And Archives
 

My guess is that far more people listen to the PODCAST and archived versions of the show than the live broadcast as the afternoon time period is inconvenient for the working folks but what is the status of and which of the two choices is likely to become available first...

PODCAST or archived shows....???? The week is almost complete ......

I'd be willing to pay for it.....not that it makes a difference. It is incredibly frustrating to read fragments of interesting topics but not be able to hear them in detail. The simulcast seems to have taken over the technical energy when loyal fans are not getting to hear the show.

Have three new engineers and they are learning the ins and outs of the system. They have a lot to get through to catch up on archives and to fix the podcast system. They are hoping to be back by tomorrow.

Pictures of Wayne, JJ and She who cannot be named won't solve the situation any faster. Perhaps a consult with Shemp ......will get the trio of crackerjack engineers on the right track.

Please just get one form of replay functional and we'll all come back inside off the ledge!!

Let's be real Steve isn't an engineer, though today we all learned his dad was, but this is never going to be a priority because it's free. I called today and got a lady who said she was fixing it. There was no way she was going to give me a week let alone a day when it would likely be done.

The "3" engineers seem to be off the case and the bottom line is if you want to hear the show you have to hear it live. We can only hope the show itself isn't finished after the summer and Saratoga ends because all the signs of increasing instability are there.

Byk's great but the guy can't do it all.....Wayne and JJ screwed us all. It's as simple and sad as that..

After a couple weeks of jostling, the 3 engineers have been decanted into the one we will use nearly 100% of the time, Justin. In the meantime, Gina has the archive secrets mastered and will start adding to the playlist any day. Podcasting decision is still up in the air as a couple of different consultants have made proposals on a new system.

Appreciate the anxious desire to get the 2 areas restored. Shouldn't be much longer...

Giood news on the Archive front... Downloading of last 5+ weeks of "ATR" began yesterday... Will take a few more days but all should be up for your listening pretty quickly.

Podcasting decision is being made between 2 providers... Likely to come with an $11.99 ($1/month) annual subscription.

Appreciate everyone's patience and understanding getting these two issues worked out...

I have been so "Jonesin" for the show I am sitting here listening to last Friday
with nary a care in the world.......I know I've been a pain in the ass about this but I have been sick without my Byk!!!!
