IEAH buys 50% of I Want Revenge

Still not finalized..

Scav 03-21-2009 06:27 PM

Switch trainers or stay with Mullins?

Scurlogue Champ 03-21-2009 06:28 PM

God...

justindew 03-21-2009 06:31 PM

I am stunned, yet not surprised at all.

(My statement makes no sense, yet is perfectly logical.)

Scurlogue Champ 03-21-2009 06:53 PM

This is how I feel about it.

(I'm in Kangaroo suit)

dpkovalesky 03-21-2009 06:55 PM

They said on espn coverage that it will stay with mullins...for now..

He is a non issue.

a lot more interesting things going on in racing;

Somewhere a slightly troubled trip by "The Vin Man" hasn't been pontified.

Somewhere a PUNK jockey riding the best horse, was out-finished by a female jockey aboard a worse gelding, while aforementioned punk jockey was riding like a bitch.

Let's just wait until the Wood. ;)

I'm absolutely unloading on IWR now.

since the horses are the ones doing the actual work, i can't help but wonder exactly what the sex of the jockey has to do with anything.

What a dumb sport. It would be like if yesterday the SEC bought Western Kentucky, the Big Ten bought Cleveland State, the Pac 10 bought Gonzaga, and the Big East bought Siena.

Storm Cadet 03-22-2009 09:31 AM

And the Big East just put St John's up for claim----we couldn't even run in the A-10...Got beat by 6 lengths against Richmond

When Patena tanked, it was time for Plan B.

Rudeboyelvis 03-22-2009 10:56 AM

anyone have a link to this?

from what i read, the owner wants to retain control, as well as keep the horse with mullins.

Rudeboyelvis 03-22-2009 11:20 AM

Sounds like this is hardly a done deal

Payson Dave 03-22-2009 11:41 AM

"Lanzman said he was looking to sell 50 percent of the colt, giving him a chance to make a profit, while still retaining his dream of running a leading contender in the Kentucky Derby.
"He's worth so much money now, it would be foolish not to take something off the table," said Lanzman, who owns a mortgage business in Los Angeles."

Being left handed I realize that I think differently than many but....
Other than it being IEAH that is the interested buyer...what is the big deal...why the rolling of the eyes...
The current owner wants to lock in a profit... is that such a bad thing??

The bad thing is he's in the mortgage business in Los Angeles. I think IEAH is a perfect union for the guy.
