I am still debating between Colonial and CT. I was at Colonial last weekend so I am leaning CT since I can avoid 3 hours of I-95 traffic.

If that's your pic in the avatar, you won't be hard to pick out at Charles Town!!

Definitely an odd spot for Big Drama unless you figure it should be an easy check?

I don't get Ah Day in this spot, particularly how he ran last time he dropped by Charles Town.

Sadly, while I'd rather be at this, I am going to be at a wedding in PA.

It actually makes sense in my opinion. How many restricted 3 yo sprints are there especially one with a 250k purse?

7f around two turns with no stretch should be a walk in the park for this horse especially against that field. 1/5?

LOL. You would have to drive like a madwoman missy but i still dont think you would get there until about the 8th race at the earliest.

i imagine that there are some lower level graded or handicaps at calder this summer for him. as we all know, horses don't come back too solid once they've entered the bull ring.

tought call, but im off to colonial

This only makes sense if they're using it as a prep for the King's Bishop. . . but he'll probably need another race in between.

Fawkes said right after the Preakness that the Haskell was his ultimate summer goal. I don't know if maybe this is his initial two-turn prep?

I thought he was a lock to try the Carry Back over a track that he obviously likes a bit.

95 traffic betwixt Richmond and DC on weekends is the worst traffic on the planet. One eight hour trip between Norfolk and DC confirmed this for me a couple years abck. 64 is no piece of cake either.
