gotta go with Trip For AJ, and Tannersville

my miss storm cat 11-29-2010 08:32 PM

I really like the field for the Tropical Turf...

Some good old hard knockers in that one.

Think I'll just watch.

(Sentimental pick in the My Charmer is Miss World).

GPK 11-30-2010 08:36 AM

Twilight Meteor is back racing? Wow...had no idea.

MISTERGEE 11-30-2010 05:39 PM

best thing about Twilight is trained by Wolfson. otherwise seems a bit over his head.

my miss storm cat 11-30-2010 07:22 PM

I wonder why he was un-retired...

RockHardTen1985 11-30-2010 10:47 PM

I love Paracaidas in the My Charmer. Not a bigger angle in horse racing then first time the Magic Man......
He is 30% first time turf off the trainer change with a positive ROI.
Every other relevant stat is strong.

As for the boy race. Never On Sunday looks like the class. His Gulfstream races were OK and he was over his head last time out. Twilight Meteor last really is not that bad, first time Marty and all. 2nd back off that layoff, he should be right there at the finish. Ill likely bet Mott if the price is right. Really not sure what JL was doing last time. I needed him for a BIG PICK 3, the day before the BC.

never on sunday has only run 3 times all year and gets Fragoso to ride at Crc, makes me wonder?

MISTERGEE 12-01-2010 01:34 PM

"magic" also has Cherokee Queen as well as 2 others on the AE list

Dahoss 12-01-2010 02:14 PM

Paracaidas is going to need every bit of Wolfson magic he has because she isn't very good. Cherokee Queen should win that race as the favorite.

Never On Sunday can win and should be used in multi's. I like Allie's Event at a price. Always runs his race and probably moved a little early last time. Tannersville has a shot at what should be a big price.

MISTERGEE 12-01-2010 02:54 PM

Yes, hope Tannersville lets em slug it out early then comes on late

No probably about it. Jeremy Rose really butchered that ride. I don't care much for Montalvo, but this is about the only horse he seems to ride well.

Screw that! :D

Using Pickapocket and Rahy's Attorney in the top spot for the Tropical Turf and Miss World and Trip for AJ in the My Charmer.

PPs...

Paracaidas has a race or 2 w/ Todd that make her competitive. If Marty moves her up, and thats expected she could be right there. Im thinking she will be over 10-1.

hockey2315 12-03-2010 12:58 PM

I don't see how she's 10-1. I haven't decided for sure if I'm for or against her, but she's definitely going to be a wise guy horse. Of 140 horses switched to Wolfson over the past 5 years, only 14 went off at 10-1+. Her one good effort could possibly make her competitive and I think the second place finisher from that race is ok, but I wouldn't just automatically assume she'll run that well or better for Wolfson than the Omnipresent One.

I think she will be in the 7-1-10-1 range at post time. I also think its safe to assume she will improve.

Shock, Shock, Shocking!;)

Dahoss 12-04-2010 02:51 PM

8/5 on Mary's Follies is ridiculous. Is she just getting bet because of Dutrow?

Dahoss 12-04-2010 03:01 PM

Nice ride on Cherokee Queen.

SCUDSBROTHER 12-04-2010 03:18 PM

Trip for A.J. got a perfect ride, and still can't beat that Block Candy. That guy is on a roll.

And how about Bridgmo? That's his 4th graded stake win in 8 days.

Of course, every trainer in America moves 'em up off TP.

For whatever reason, he seems to do well this time of year.

RockHardTen1985 12-04-2010 06:41 PM

The Zenyatta ran well. Not sure why Seth is rushing with him. I would have waited for Gulfstream.

Didn't know she sprouted male reproductive organs and already has three-year-olds. They should've shipped him to Hollywood last weekend, but I think that horse is terribly overrated.

He was a terrible underlay, but would have been a G1 winner last weekend IMO.
