I can't believe he's coming back!

After a long layoff (i don't know how long), the most impressive brazilian dirt performer, imo, is preparing for his come back. AL ARZ is doing well at the workouts and is being planned to race him in the Winds Sand Handicap Stakes, on september 3rd at Del Mar.

He is my favourite brazilian horse of this decade, i think. Hope he is well!!:D

was he not entered for the Hollywood Gold Cup last yr? I was going to make a big bet on him before he scratched. WHo is training him now?

Has he raced since Hollywood Park in May?

Go AL ARZ!!!

Just a quote....I arrived today from the US...and i've been yesterday at Calder!:D My first time betting on non-brazilian race tracks...I bet one at Calder and one at Saratoga...lol...it was pretty funny!

NoChanceToDance 09-03-2007 02:26 PM

Sorry, but i think Cimyla will win this.

my miss storm cat 09-03-2007 03:09 PM

If AL ARZ or PLUG ME Wins, I am alive in the second leg of the Pick 3.
I singled Miss Josie Wells in the last leg.

NoChanceToDance 09-03-2007 05:42 PM

Disappointed with Cimyla. He had everything to suit him today, but just wasn't good enough.

Impressed by the winner though, who looked to it very easily.

fmc123412 09-03-2007 08:46 PM

Sad news...:( ...al arz will undergo surgery after the race...kind of a epiglot obstruction...

my miss storm cat 11-04-2007 08:20 PM

He's baaaaack. :)

Yeah, should be fun.

I've always liked Oceanus. Not exactly the most consistent horse in the world..... gotta love him. :D
