my family just grew
 

my son, in the navy, got married yesterday. i found out today when he arrived with his new wife....and her two year old son. so, now i'm an instant grandmother to boot.

yeah, a bit shocked. he had said he was thinking about it, just didn't think he'd show up with a ring already on the finger...he deploys in a couple months, said that this was the only time they could marry that 'everyone could be there' meaning her dad. nice. didn't matter if his side could be there i guess.
as long as mark is happy i suppose. but he's gotten himself in a bit deep. baby's daddy hates him, doesn't pay child support, doesn't want to pay-is about to be forced to pay, which ought to help immensely...but when she asked if he'd sign away his rights so mark could adopt...well, let's just say they played me a voice mail with more profanity than i've heard in quite some time, and in such a short period of time!
