Got an all time classic quote from Mr Billy Downes today after Taylor's race after I told him not to go to drinking all his profits, "Its all part of growing up"

Danzig 05-14-2009 07:52 PM

Classic!!! Many are called few are chosen.

She has been one heck of a quarter million baby. More time in the tank than Charles Manson.

Congrats guys!

Sightseek 05-14-2009 08:25 PM

Nice!

Congrats to all involved. A bit of a strangely run race, all things considered, and she ran really well.

Once again I am reminded that there is little better at the racetrack than watching Tom cheer a horse home.

Absolute insanity, and one of my favorite things.

Watching him jumping up and down today, it's obvious he supports more weight on his ankles than Fading Light does on hers.

Understandably so. I thought she had it.
I haven't watched the replay, but from what we saw live I thought it looked like she did a lot more running than the winner. The Catalano horse just came flying on the outside in the final strides.....just like seemingly every other winner did today on the main track.

Either way, the effort put forth by both Fading Light and Scav in that race was impressive. Congrats to Bob, Tom, and Chuck.

5th choice coming in second to Catalano...impressive:tro:

herkhorse 05-15-2009 12:03 AM
