Wow, very nice field for the Northern Dancer.

I know it might be stupid to play against Rahy's Attorney in the Mile (well I think he has a better shot than Bribon or Ventura) but as far as rooting interests go? I'm hoping Sterwins wins.

As an aside I guess its down right now but i love the way Woodbine has these mini istes for their big race days.

Really like Bribon and Rahy's Attorney, but do not know what to make of Ventura, 5 months off, but 6 works over the past month and a half...

I think Sterwins closes into these (sprinter streaching out types), and gets the win. I am drueling here.:$:

I haven't had the time to look too deeply into today's card but here are some thoughts for some of the key contenders.
Canadian

Forever Together - was ridden far too passively early on last yr in a 1 turn route, Leparioux should leave her with less to do today, the only way I can see her faltering is if someone steals this race on the front end and she is left with too much to do in the stretch, should handle these today.

Points of Grace - The obvious pace threat, she won't be 13-1 today as she was in the DS. Not the greatest bet at the 5/2ML however if she is closer to 5/1 I may try her and hope Julien falls asleep again.

Northern Dancer This is the best betting race of the 3 features.

Marlang - Longshot of the day.

Wdb Mile

Jungle Weave - is in good form this year, faces questions of distance and class. If the pace is sedate early on he could be tough today and might post the upset.

Ventura - Will benefit going a 1 turn mile today. One would surmise It's as far as she wants to go.

Will exclude Bribon and last yrs winner Rahy's Attorney, both may be rated higher in opinion than their actual odds.

Going deep in the Mile with 30-1 Grand Adventure;)
