Oh, in this case she truly has done enough. Thank you KNS for trying every single time. Will her papers include that she cannot race again? Is there any way we can keep track of her? If she needs a new home I am sure there are some on here that would like to help.

Susan told me that she is a very comfortable ride and will probably make a good trail horse. Too bad it is not one year later, I might be in a position to take her then.

She was such an honest horse and always tried hard. Watching her wins, she was so game. I am glad I got to see her run and was proud to have been a part of venture everytime she entered the gate.

I am sure this was a tough decision. Thanks, Chuck and Steve, for letting all of go along for the ride.

All the best to KNS in her retirement. Thanks to everyone involved for all the good times. She always ran her heart out, DeeTee's iron horse.

Agree with all that's been said, she tried hard every time and it was great to be a part of it all. Lot's of good memory's and hope she lives a long and happy life off the track.

I never made a race, so I don't know everyone to thank who made it possible except the obvious Chuck, Steve, Cheri and TC?

As the only Dee Tee horse I had any piece of, she was just the balls. She'll be missed and hope she enjoys retirement.

kickin was always a joy to watch. not big on talent, but big on trying, she always gave it her best. certainly understandable that she be retired now, no complaints at all. hope she finds a good home.

KNS was a fun horse, she always tried hard. I'm glad Chuck got her, I remember she must of gained 50 lbs in two weeks coming into his barn. Hope she gets a good home.

Though today’s announcement was not a complete surprise, I must say I am a bit saddened by the news. KnS has always held a special place with me as she was my first foray into the Dee Tee experience. I remember that soggy, Friday Fall afternoon at Monmouth when the word came Chuck had claimed a horse at Keeneland. I was on cloud nine that whole weekend and could not wait for her first start. Little did I know this quirky daughter of Chester House would take me, my family and friends to 5 of her 8 racing venues. From her 1st start at Tampa to her last start at Philly she gave us her all, which more times than not, was a solid and hard fought performance. 13 board hits out of 28 starts which included that sub zero degree start at Turfway and of course her first win at Arlington. That first win was a thrill of a lifetime and made extra special as I was able to share that whole experience with my dad.

Thanks to Steve, Chuck, TC, Cherie, Susan and the entire Simon Racing staff for taking great care of the “Kickin” one. I know she was a handful at times but I was always comfortable knowing that you had her best interests in mind which ultimately included today’s decision.

Finally special thanks to Kickin n Screamin. You raced hard everytime and gave us many, many thrills. Enjoy your well deserved retirement. You have earned it.

this is the race with the screwed up call

I was at home watching it on HRTV and Laffit Pincay Jr said, "they could go around again and KnS ain't letting that one by"

Thanks to everyone

And especially our gal Kickin'. I know she brought my family and I a lot of joy and particularly helped me through a rough period in my life. Thanks girl. Enjoy your new home.
