A horse race named after a basketball coach?:zz:

How long has this race been in existence?

I didn't know who it was named for and I have absolutely no idea, Kev.

I was a fan of a previous winner, Bingham, who sadly well... he was a starter last year anyway.

Hopefully this year there will be a happy ending all the way around.

Personally I think we should change the name and name it after you but what do I know?

Cotton Fitzsimmons was a complete degenerate horseplayer

I never went to Turf Paradise once without seeing him there

It's just a matter of time, really.

Geez Kev give me a little credit here.

I could have easily made a joke (you left the door open by asking how long it had been around for)....

... but I was short on ideas. :p

If your betting, the 12 and the 2 AE's make up the mutuel field.
