Gulfstream couldn't lure him away from Tampa!?

Why not an alw-opt claiming race for non-winners of two triple crown races at 9fs on dirt?

Nice race.

Really nice betting race.... Drosselmeyer will take the obvious share, but there are a few in here that make a lot of sense at what should be nice prices... Mad Flatter @ 6-1 will probably be 9-2 by post and given the current form of Schoolyard Dreams ought to have it all his own way on the front.

I thought for sure Waz would have entered DIO. He places him in every other race he can't win, why not here?

Not exactly going out on a limb, but Colizeo seems pretty well spotted here for his 1st start as a 4 yr old. Willie from the rail scares me a bit, however.

Kev - He's still running DIO over his head, it's just that now it's in optional claimers. Ran for his first tag last time (62.5K....lol) I used him thinking that The Waz had finally come to his senses and dropped him to where he could win...:zz: That won't happen again.

Did you ever consider that it's not the Waz calling the shots? Perhaps it's Mrs. Waz?:)

Definitely gotta use Seth but I agree completely - he's either going to get buried or use a ton to get clear by 6 lengths and burn out.... There is no middle ground with that guy...

Don't leave out the #4 !

Did Bigs ever show you DIO's debut race chart? Classic stuff.

Nice job.

Can't say the same for Drosselmeyer.

The Indomitable DrugS 03-05-2011 04:53 PM

Drosselmeyer would still smoke that bum Alydar.

Not Goncalves finest performance on Mad Flatter. He'll have a good look next time.

Why run for a measly $60k on the dirt when he can wait two weeks and get buried in a Grade III on his preferred surface?
