"Missing" teacher in Vol Jack land

A girl I went to school with - she was working as an 8th grade teacher in Tenn - has been missing for ten days. Her car was found a few days ago - it had been torched to destroy evidence. Her purse and ID still inside of it.

She was recently divorced - and was just in the process of moving to get further away from her ex-husband. Her ex-husband had been arrested a year ago for 'theft of farming equipment' - he was the last person to see her - as her last known where-abouts are reportedly when she dropped off the former couples kid at his house.

A lot of my old female schoolmates have been spamming away at facebook the last few days ... pleading with people to pray for her "safe return" and for her "to come home"

They act like she's a lost puppy dog or something. Don't get me wrong - I hope her remains are found and her killer brought to justice .. but there is no way she's alive. Anyone with an IQ over 40 can figure out she's dead and her ex-husband killed her.

lines get blurred with praying on facebook and preying in rl. I always found it disingenuous when people post requests for prayer on facebook about some girl they knew in high school. It's really about them and their constant need for attention.

A few of them have actually left for Tenn to look for her.

There's going to be a huge meltdown among them when they find her body.

That's ridiculous. People aren't that unselfish. There's a personal motive to it. People like this tend to be in social circles that require one to outdo the other. And the extremely hot trend now is to go out of your way to care for other people. Make no mistake, the real compassionate people would NEVER post s.hit like this on Facebook. Plus they would have enough sense to realize they are stay-at-home mom and the Pilates classes they've attended the past few months don't automatically qualify them as Dog the Bounty Hunter.

I hope they all are kidnapped with her.

Coach, you think I should attend this candle lighting circle jerk thing they're having and try and pick up one of these sluts?

Mostly like 23-to-29 .... she's 25 I think.

Let this be a lesson people - if your daughter is married to a man convicted of stealing farming equipment and doctoring VIN numbers on John Deere's ... get her away from him - and fast.

Actually a pretty sad thread, folks think they KNOW what others are thinking and feeling and they KNOW she is dead, murdered by her X. Odds are they may be right about this poor young woman but it's pretty cynical to think everyone showing compassion is self centered attention seeking...then again, we tend to think everyone is an image of ourselves.

Congrats boys. You've actually outdone yourselves. Amazing.

Drugs, you would make a great Supreme Court Justice and Coach, you should be the next Dr. Oz.

Let's recap this again ....

Women is recently divorced and in the process of trying to move away from ex-husband. Women is last seen droping off the kid at ex-husbands house. Women's car is found torched in a field a few hours later - her purse and ID in the car.

Ex-husband recently served time for stealing farm equipment - and doctoring VIN #'s on John Deere's ... ex-husband has a freaking haircut that looks like this ....

You don't even believe that she's dead? God, you're a simple - stupid fucl<. Where do you think she's been the last ten days? Hitch-hiking to Mardi Gras?

Yeah - Odds of like roughly 100%.

Dahoss 03-07-2011 09:56 PM

I love that Dimmy had to comment. Praise Jesus!

Yeah - Odds of like roughly 100%.

As I clearly said, without the name calling, she probably is deceased, but taking the giant step of pronouncing her dead and the X guilty is premature without actual evidence. Likewise the cynical and blatantly sexual comments dismissing folks showing actual concern for her is...in a word...sad!

Maybe she is faking her death and setting up her ex husband.

Then she can be free to go with a real man from Erie.
