No excuses for Dialed In.

Soldat not happy.

Not really.
Stay Thirsty perhaps slightly. |
Got off the phone w/ John Fort a little while ago. He said that there was a chance that Flashpoint could win the Florida Derby and not go to Kentucky. I think it'd be extremely hard to make that decision, but I would applaud it if for nothing else it's refreshing realisticness. He thinks he could get an advantageous pace scenario at GP because everyone might be afraid to run with him, but doesn't think the same could ever happen in the KY Derby.

Forget about afraid - they aren't fast enough to run with Flashpoint early on.
Unless he's overly rated - or the track is very speed biased - whoever is within two or three lengths of Flashpoint early isn't going to have anything left in the stretch for Dialed In. |

I'm not sure about that as I'm not positive he can rate. |

FL Derby day card PP's are up..

Flashpoint will have to gun it from the 8 path (not that he wouldn't anyway, but is post will make him work harder.
Soldat gets the rail...again. Hopefully the presence of Flashpoint will help this not be another merry go round for the horses drawing inside going 1-1/8 at GP |
