Nice field.

Nice preview for the Woody Stephens on 6/11-3 or 4 of these horses should be running in it as well

Indian Charlie 04-27-2011 03:02 PM

I'm going with the 7-8 box.

Of course you are!

I realize next week is going to be stacked and all, but isn't this a pretty horrific opening day card for Churchill?

I have got to find myself a pet sire so I can root for all his lil horseys and, be his best friend on message boards.

The Bid 04-27-2011 09:42 PM

Woah, that was a lot of typos for you in one post. I hope you don't mind my spelling corrections.

For a second there, I misread you and thought you were trying to be funny.

Jill Byrne just said all Indian Charlies run really well at Churchill.

Well, I guess that makes it so.

Too bad he didn't win there himself.

Sightseek 04-30-2011 08:45 PM

Damn Indian Charlies. :p

Nice run by Machen.

Alan07 04-30-2011 08:50 PM

Order of Finish:
1st: Machen
2nd: Dominus
3rd: J J's Lucky Train
4th: Indian Winter
5th: Indiano
6th: Travelin Man
7th: Beamer
8th: B G Suavecito
9th: Duca

Indian Charlie 04-30-2011 08:51 PM

Yeah, I don't think much of either of them, though I was hoping for a bit better from Indiano.

That was a nice race by the winner at least.

I suppose he'll go on to the Preakness next out and run a hanging 4th or 5th after a brief rally.

Hopefully afterwards he'll target the Woody Stephens and King's Bishop.

I thought the #6 looked fantastic in the paddock and ran a hell of a race. Definitely one to look for in the future.

It'll be interesting if Dominus ever gets a chance on turf. Not only is he by Smart Strike, but his female family is inundated with nothing but turf black type, Honey Ryder being the most notable name.

Let's just hope he makes it to August. Horses who suddenly appear in those Public Storage silks seem to have a way of getting to the breeding shed in a hurry.

I was wondering about that. I coulda sworn that horse had Stonestreet silks when he won at Santa Anita.
