I'll be at Pocono Downs

I'll run over to the OTW and bet and then return home and watch on TV.

on my couch after a day of golfing and drinking.

I'll be in Deerfield Beach Florida in front of TV with my favorite snacks.
Since no one I hang out with can read the DRF or takes handicapping serious for one day, I'd really enjoy being alone.
My girlfriend ( and everyone else I know) think I'm weird, but I don't have the patience for the casual fan.
Also, I can call in my wagers without the hassle of playing everyone's favorite numbers!
As Steve said in his selections for opening night at Churchill,
"should be great fun for those of us that wish to ignore our spouses and families...".

At a Derby party at Carpool in Herndon, Va. This is only the 2nd Derby Week I have missed since 1995.

At my home, with 20-30 of my closest friends, a whole hog and way to many mint julep jello shots.

I'm either going to Hollywood Park with a few horsie-board friends or doing the same.

My daughter is like a jr PETA member (enjoys informing me that it's cruelty and that I'm mean for watching). My son likes racing okay but will be with his idiot father so yeah... it's fine with me if I'm here and online and celebrating with you guys (who are here) and my TVG account. :D

Let your daughter know that I've been a PETA member since before she was born and I still love horse racing...the purpose of PETA is to speak out against obvious cruelty, not impose their will on the masses. Speaking out against individual cases of abuse in racing is one thing, sometimes some in PETA get carried away...like the magazine they sent me once describing "humane" ways of dealing with flies and mosquitoes (LOL).
