We have more good long distance turf horses than we know what to do with, right?

The CNL Turf Cup went off almost an hour ago and have yet to seen it on TV. Only thing I know is that Rahystrada won and paid about 7 bucks.

Did anyone see the DaHoss? How Followmyfootsteps wins that photo is remarkable. From every live action vantage point he looks beat but gets the nose ahead.

I thought the Turf Cup was a graded race at some point?

Downgraded when they opened it up to older horses. . .

Steve

What was more remarkable is that the photo sign goes up immediately and doesn't come down until the horses had...pulled up on the inner turf course, got all the way back to unsaddle, and the two involved in the photo were walked around for about five minutes. It screamed "deadheat," I was shocked they put a number up after literally, a good 8-9 minutes of waiting.

It was a great race, too bad it knocked me out of the Pick 4!!! We were standing on the rail at the finish line, and from there you could tell (barely!!) that Followmyfootsteps won. Doesn't get more exciting than that, though.

Also, Aruna looked really good, both physically and in her race. Seeing her in the paddock, there was no way she was losing that race.

Seeing her pps led to that conclusion as well.
