That family produces nothing but runners and they all win at first asking.

The problem is they don't seem to stick around. Only Zaftig realized any of her potential, and went straight to the sidelines after her big Acorn win. Her comeback only lasted one start before retiring with another injury. Yet she is the iron horse of the immediate family with 6 career starts.

That was some Graded Stake Derby prep.

Last year's edition was pretty slow, too, but Wilkinson, Pants On Fire, and Justin Phillips had fairly productive campaigns afterwards.
