He could run backwards and still win.

In all seriousness, do you think they had to get permission from the Farley estate for that name?

The name doesn't have to be trademarked to be off limits; it just has to be considered to have significant creative, commercial or artistic significance. Probably comes down to how recognizable the JC feels the name is. Yesterday was named after the Beatles song, so the owner said, but I imagine the JC probably couldn't deny the name as the word doesn't automatically make you think of the song.

Great. I just gave myself an ear worm.

I loved those books, too. His daughter built some costumes for my department at my old job. She was really nice.

Excellent project! I imagine first editions of the first book are probably fairly valuable.

Don't get me wrong... he's a nice horse (too).

I just don't see this one losing. :)

I loved TCE. I don't know about anyone else but I get a kick out of it that this race has him name associated with it.

That's probably a pretty unpopular opinion but it's mine.

I like Bourbon Courage to win this race with Saint of Saints for 2nd.....

RockHardTen1985 04-27-2012 07:45 AM

Small bets though, if anything. Waiting for next weekend.

Sightseek 04-28-2012 09:25 PM

Bourbon Courage didn't seem to appreciate the mud.
