1/18 - Tampa P5 Carryover Discussion

Anyone??

Race 6- Little confidence in either the the 5 or the 6 - will use defensively. Loved the 2 who had been rounding nicely back into form and set up for a big run, but scratched. Going to include the 9 G. Bennett stretching out - the horse has no turf in the ped, but looks like he at least needs the distance and the Lynne Scace firster. Someone has to explain to me why Cibelli is 4-1. I wouldn't bet the horse at 40-1. 5 or 6 may win by default, but would not be surprised to see an upsetter kick this off.

Race 7-
Pot of Gold towers over these - look at Boracay Wonders 2 turn dirt @ Suf..... The 2 ran nice under the bug last but don't envision a scenario where he improves enough to get past the 10...Playing a bomb backup in case the 10 doesn't fire -if BW can move up over the Tampa surface from those SUF dirt routes he can logically be there to pick em up. A fantastic exotic use underneath at what should be 14-1 or better if nothing else.

Races 8

This race seems to me to be pretty straight forward. Elusive Echo is probably a single, but will use the 5- second start for Rhone. Can't endorse the 4.{9.40 4.20 2.80} :( May talk myself into it, but that last had to have taken a lot of punch out of her and a fairly quick turnaround to boot. The good news is that she knows this horse is better closing - the bad news is that the race is completely void of pace. Would be shocked and may not be worth the cost to include.

Race 9

No fan of the Waz here - most of these figs are over off ground and he seems better suited for 7F than 2 turns. No shocker here the 3 chalks:

Here's where the Waz blows up the tik. Passley horse is easily the best in here and 6-1 is a pipe dream but hopefully it scares off a few tickets.

4x2x2x3x4 = 96.00

Good Luck
