Wow.. Huge effort. If Phil Teator doesn't harass him with Banzai Kid, who knows... 5th beaten 4.5L. Very encouraging try. Unfortunately, we're running out of turf sprint season.

That's what he's bred for being out of the Fastness mare and on top of that, we know he doesn't like dirt in his face.. Sharp final time of 1:09.42 and given the 4 ahead of him, will score out as his career best effort... likely a mid-50's Beyer.

58 Beyer confirming Corybant's career best try today.. Basically a 5 length improvement over his previous top efforts.

Have you kept an eye on the Meadowlands condition book? Lots of turf sprints there

That ends BC weekend I believe. There's plenty of turf left in NY as Aqueduct raced on the lawn to December 7 last year. But 1m is the minimum distance..

Enjoyed watching the race on Xpressbet. Good to see Corybant compete like that.
