For whatever reason it seems that the Sheikhs bought West Virginia with the intent to win the Empire Classic and are determined to see that through.

So West Virginia couldn't beat Naughty New Yorker and he's supposed to be able to run with Bernardini and Dylan Thomas?

The Sheikhs don't care about the Empire Classic. Hes bound for over there shortly, geez, they bought him to race over there this winter and are just letting him stick around over here with Pletcher because the Empire suits him.

Kudos to O'Brian for being the only trainer not scared to race against Bernardini....and he doesn't even know if his horse will take to dirt or not!!!
