Hernandez had absolutely zero horse under him with Point to the Wild when the real running started at the head of the stretch to reel-in the cheap speed with Insolvent. Another Kentucky shipper that is completely undermanned when it comes to running at Saratoga.

Chris DeCarlo continues to impress me as he guides My Bella Beauty to second money - he drafted perfectly behind Ave's Halo on the turn and was simply second best all the way through the lane.

Cox' horses have at least been running well. There was just no one else that I really wanted in that race.

I agree with you for the most part on the Kentucky shippers. It has gotten to the point where when I see a horse trained by Rusty Arnold or Merrill Scherer I automatically toss regardless of how formidable they look on paper.
