In a heartbreaking turn, the colt took ill last week with a virus, began to refuse to nurse and succumbed earlier this evening.

Among 3 mares in 7 opportunities, have now lost 2 live foals and seen 2 others aborted in 3 years. Very tough..

Appreciate everyone's very kind sentiments.. Hopefully the 3 that we have -- Ausable's 2yo Macho Uno filly & Here Comes Ben Yearling & My Nina Rose's Teuflesberg weanling -- go on to do something good.
