Steve - hope the mare came back OK. She looked like she stopped heading into the far turn, still about 3.5f from home. Saw that Trakus reported her crossing the wire fifth, but clearly eased in the final quarter.

Thanks for asking. Came back fine. Saez decided not to hold the lead and then was surprised when she didn't like taking dirt. Didn't move her out a path.. Wrapped up on her and said 'run her on turf'.. like we didn't know. A little annoying but no harm done. We're through another winter and she even stole a win this season. Turf in April.
