Todays card sure looks like they are doing everything to carry this until Sat. Couple strong favorites and a couple realitively short fields for Gulfstream. The last 2 Thursdays had at least 1 horse in the final leg that would have taken down the pool. I just don't see it today.

Agree Jim. There were 2 things that they needed to be aware of as this moved to distribution day: Ensure it didn't get hit (as it did by Borislow) and make the force out sequence approachable for the people that helped build the pot.

They got the first part down and missed part two. The sequence Saturday will be exceedingly difficult to hit on a small budget. Awfully unfair and a mistake in terms of redistributing the multi-millions.

Steve if you talk to anyone from Gulfstream can you ask why distribution day is not Florida Derby day.... I would think it would generate an enormous amount of play that day.. As it stands now there will be little reason to get involved in the Pick 6 on Florida Derby day.

They know fl derbyday will already be huge without p6,they want to take handle away from La and get $$ both weekends before snowbird go home;)

Saturday's card looks impossible without breaking the bank

Pick 6 starting and it is now raining... They have 4 of these on the turf.... Fields relatively short already and nearly 600 K new in the pool... Let's see if they completely screw us and take races off after the pick 6 starts..

Just when I thought it might be a hittable sequence, I thought back to this post.

It was the $3,888 play that was a winner. Gus put it together for his brother in law who hit with a partner!

Whenever my brother and I go to the races, we have the 10 percent rule. Any casher over a thousand you give 10 percent to one another. I hope Gus gets his 89 hunge!!!
