Not at all surprising. A California Champion and that is where he should stay, and hope the BC ends up on the West Coast before he's off track!

Yeah,but Perfect Drift has always run well at Churchill,and was nowhere too.He has never been off the board there until today.I won't hold it against any of those horses starting out that far.Again the 2 inside posts ran huge.Brother Derek ran huge from the one hole.I never thought he would hang in there that long.P TAP ran a game 3rd from the 2 hole.I'd say that horses outside of them ran against an inside bias,and now that I look at the tape,I think the two huge efforts were by Giacomo,and Invasor.Good way for Giacomo to go off to the breeding shed.I would imagine that Bernadini is off to the b shed too.Bernardini ran well,but he had a target on him,and was wide on the backstretch,on a day that you really paid the price for being out there.

To bad Too. He would of been a great story.
