ROI Results 6/8 @ Belmont
 

What a stellar day of racing at Belmont Saturday. Great weather and great racing performances
in most races and pretty good handicapping by a bunch of our posters. Four players showed a
profit and filled all our payout slots and 5 winning tickets were cashed. Cruzan takes 4th with a
$50 win bet on Sir Winston in the feature. On most days that would be enough to visit the
winners circle but it wasn't just any day. Plenilune takes 3rd with an exacta box in race 7 and
collected a sweet $585. Guarana was one of those horses that sizzled and Plen took it to
the bank. Cal828 took the number two slot by going the trifecta route. He cashed in on
another outstanding performance by Bricks and Mortar and added nice prices on Robert
Bruce and Raging Bull to collect almost $700 on his $15 ticket. That leaves two winning
tickets unaccounted for and they belonged to the Runaway Belmont winner Roamin. Either
ticket would have put Tom on top and so he doubled his fun. Tom played Sir Winston to win
in the Belmont and was rewarded with $1120. Then he also hit the exacta with Tacitus
underneath for $2400. That totaled out for a profit of $3320 on the day. Nicely played Roamin.

Wow Roamin you were sizzling hot on Saturday! So glad to read that you also had real money on Sir Winston. Congratulations! As this year is the 75th anniversary of D-Day Sir Winston should have been a hunch bet, at the very least. ;)

Watch out Roamin. I get catnip from Ruffian almost every week and haven't had a winner since Angel Cordero was in his prime. I think Ruffian laces it with Sominex.
