Nice work Mr Lanerie. 1st timer, loaded from the opening bell and you get yourself in the only spot you can to lose the race. This horse took sooooo much money in the doubles and pick 3 (vs the M/L) and went from 8-1 when the gates opened to 9/2 after 1/4 mile. Watch how much trouble he gets in and bet back with confidence next out, though likely at a seriously deflated price.

Extremely unlucky trip as the horse was obviously best. I’m just not sure Lanerie could’ve done anything different. He put the horse in a great spot, just never got a hole.

Entered Friday at Ellis Park Race 5.

Glad he was 3:5 saved me $. Another tough beat.
