Will be posting two horses a day. One will be the equivalent of a “best bet” and one will be a “best long shot”. Hoping to change my mojo in this room a bit.

Longshot- Race 7- #1 Short Pour (turf only)

With the 7th off the turf let’s change the long shot to
Race 4-#7 Orpheus

Not really a “long shot” but I don’t see much today

Qurbaan was terribly overbet and ran a blah 3rd. Orpheus was a good 2nd at 16-1 and paid $11 to place.

Nice move by Grand Banks but flattened, Catch a Bid caught at wire and paid $3 to place.

Day 5
I’ve had some of my best days in Saratoga washouts and some of my worst. Let’s hope for a good.

Longshot- Race 8- #2 Figure it Out

Good luck today - you will get one home soon I can feel it. This is kind of a concept play type thing, curious if you’re having any luck so far at the meet? I haven’t played much but what I have has been dreadful. Here’s to turning it around

Oh also meant to mention that both City a fun and Give me the Lute came home winners, couple that you had tabbed...

Luckily my betting hasn’t been as bad as my 2 picks a day. It’s tough trying to come up with a best bet, because to me a best bet could be a 20-1 shot that is think is way more likely to win than odds indicate.

I haven’t had a lot of winners but I’ve made the ones I have had count.

Finally caught one. Plink Freud missed 2nd by a nose, but caught the last. Paid $26.60 to win and $13 to place.
