On Food Network...NOW!

Bobby Flay's throwdown featuring the one where he challenged the guy who owns Hatties Restaurant in Saratoga Springs. The match takes place at Sartaoga race course. Its on Food Network now. Check it out!

Sounds like......

Race night on the Food Network! lol
Bobby i know is an owner, anyone know how many he's got a piece of?

Gander 01-24-2007 07:11 PM

I would guess he owns about 5 horses. His best one is Gilded Gold.
He also owns Sophies Salad. The others I cant recall.

Bobby also owns a piece of that 2YO, Unbridled Express I think, that ran in the Hopeful.

Personally, I'd rather look at Rachel Ray than Bobby Flay.

No really she was....she told the guy how she meet him at the derby the one year he won it and then he was on the show too when he came home...that is the only reason i watched the show because she said her husband was a trainer and i wanted to see how the husband won and then she said her last name was baffert....

The joke isn't her being on the show, but rather on how she came to be Baffert's wife (the sequel) me thinks.

(In re: to take home chef) Myself, if I saw that smarmy looking aussie in my house.. i would be looking to correct him on his thinking its kosher to approach my live in gfriend (or wife) in the market. Then subsequently go back to the house and cook. Crew of 8 or not the guy wouldn't go trolling in my market again... I promise.

No joke here. The chef picks up pretty women out of LA area markets and takes them home to cook. Im going to try it

Yes thats right. That was the horse I couldnt think of. Bobby was up at Saratoga on Hopeful Day, both Unbridled Express and Sophies Salad ran pretty poorly, I dont think either hit the board.

hoovesupsideyourhead 01-25-2007 08:29 AM

the salad got beat and i think was the fav..i had heard he was buying a few out of the stalls..at toga that weekend..

Gander 01-25-2007 08:45 AM

Yes Sophies Salad was off the board as the favorite early in the card that day. Unbridled Express battled early and finished up 3rd in a 5 horse field.

boswd 01-25-2007 09:32 AM

It's airing again tonight at 10:00

eajinabi 01-25-2007 04:11 PM

He was also was part owner of WONDER AGAIN

Gander 01-25-2007 04:19 PM

Yes, I heard he bought into this horse very late in her career. Maybe only owned part of her for her last 2-3 starts at the most.
