as far as the Kreider comment, i would venture a small wager that Stamkos is a faster skater then him

Good thing it's a small wager because you'd lose and it wouldn't be close. Stamkos is great, but end-to-end Kreider is easily faster than him. He routinely starts after an outlet pass several strides behind a defender (and not a backpedaling one) and ends up with a breakaway. Never once seen Stamkos do that.
