Rainbow pick 6 actually had 7,455 winners. $1934 win would have been nice, but I can live with not winning it. I was afraid it might be one of those 5 or 6 digit wins. I would have been sick then, but in the end, it turned out to be way chalkier than I expected. Only two horses paid more than $10 and that was in the 12th and in the Derby itself. Maiden race that started out the sequence didn't turn out to be as hard as it looked with Pletcher's entry winning it.
Still, there is a lesson to be learned about having more faith in your picks. I hope I learned it, but I doubt it. I seemed to be doomed to making the same old mistakes.
