I guess the best thing in betting horses is to make money and maybe the second best thing is to not lose too much? Funny thing is I always try to make my bet come out an even $100. If I had not bet that $4 on a double play, I would have wound up with $101.10 putting me in 3rd place and eligible for a few points. No biggie really. I was just glad not to sink further into the hole!! That was the only thing I did right in the contest.
