Lots of pent up demand is right and that pretty much explains things for the economy as a whole. Some people griping about inflation now, but even a basic understanding of the dismal science pretty much explains things. I was a "D" student in Economics, but I think I at least got that much out of it.
Just hope that people are not emerging from their Covid induced nap too soon. Numbers rising down here sorry to say, but I think it would be a rush to judgement to say politics is entirely to blame. Looks like a lot of young people are avoiding inoculation. I guess we all were like that at one time, thinking we're indestructible. All this to say, I will likely be wearing my mask for the foreseeable future. So far haven't encountered anyone that wants to give me a whuppin' because of it, thankfully.
