Excellent Observation!

I spoke with the NSA Business Director Emery Taylor and suggested that additional beacon cones be placed after the last fence to the wire to prevent horses drifting in. Emery already made the same suggestion to NYRA after the incident today and NYRA said additional cones were not necessary because both cases were "rider error."

Emery is going to Saratoga Thursday to try and convince NYRA to place additional cones for the safety of horse and rider.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the additional cones will be up for the race next Wednesday.
