Good Luck
I attended races that Birdbirdistheword won -- Harrah's Juvenile on turf and Delta Jackpot on dirt. This is very professional athlete. His move in Delta Jackpot was one of the most visually impressive I have ever seen in over 32 years of attending races. You can't see on video how easily he proceeded down backstretch passing field, then he ran fluidly through turn and gained lead at top of lane. As result chart noted, he maintained his lead to the wire. You can't teach explosive burst of speed! It compares to 1983 Sunny's Halo 12-length Super Derby win that I witnessed.

Robby Albarado is Louisiana native. He has been aboard each of Bird's three lifetime victories. He is second leading rider at current FG meet. Out-of-town riders, even top-flight ones, often have trouble with long FG stretch -- either moving too early or too late. Between 3/16 & 1/8 poles winner will likely emerge.

I saw one national service that discounted Bird's Delta performance. Comments alluded to 3-turn bullring race -- oops! Delta has 3-furlong chute that feeds its 6-furlong bullring which yields 2-turn 8.5 furlong configuration. So, consider carefully what others publish who don't attend races off the beaten path.

Going to New Orleans tomorrow for Big Day in Big Easy... good luck all.
