Funny Cide was a ridgling. Dominican was as well, and was severely impinged by the discomfort until being gelded. Darrin Miller told me that the horse's extension and whole way of going has changed since the surgery. (One reason that those saying he is strictly a Poly type are being short-sighted... Great point- he looked MUCH better at Turfway stride-wise than he did in the CD stake. I thought it was maturity but if the trainer says it was a big factor, I believe him.
If the wiseguys don't bang the odds down he could be the trifecta inflator.
