I wouldn't be totally shocked if they cancelled(probably won't but if the top 2 jocks get to whining like last week, then I can see it getting called off.) We won't have any heat problems during the main meet. It's just during the Oaktree Meet that it can get hot. We have late Summers here. It's actually been a relatively moderate July-August -September(until now.)

Those are the conditions that have been making that track a crap shoot....
From Free's article last week(
http://www.drf.com/news/article/98588.html ) they are still having trouble with the difference in the track from morning training to racing in the afternoon especially the front half of the card when the heat is worse.
According to Free this whole craziness of not knowing which horses are going to "fall apart" when pushed was a problem the first few days of the meet. If the heat is even worse then things are likely even more complicated especially when they go on record as saying they are not going to water the place. I think I'll watch tomorrow...
Meanwhile back at the ranch has anyone got a clue about the Belmont 5th tomorrow....I think I have it narowed to every horse in the race except one!!
Any thoughts...
