Makes you only want to watch baseball on ESPN Classic doesn't it? Back when men were real men. Nowdays, five innings is called a quality start. Nowdays, they'll bring a pitcher in to face one batter and lefties get taken out cause a right handed batter is coming up. Nowdays, closers are considered ironmen if they can pitch two innings. Nowdays, pitchers are on pitch counts. Nowdays, a guy that throws 200 innings is considered a workhorse.
