Germany is in trouble

Team USA is probably the fourth best team talent wise in the tournament. Canada and the Russians, and the Sweds are probably better but they are pansies. If they get bronze they did well, silver will be unreal. Gold I think is out of the question after watching them play yesterday. Shoulda been 7-1
After another game, there might not be a chance to make a change. I really don't know how you can pin 2 deflection goals on him. At some point you have to blame a few of the offensive guys for not finishing. There were a couple of breaks and most notably Nash missing a wide open net. Also, Canada should probably tip their hats to Miller who was just amazing. Sometimes you just run into a hot goalie and that's what happened last night.

I agree with you assesment of the US talent wise. Any medal would be a huge accomplishment (especially if Canada ends up off the board). You would think that they just don't have the firepower to stay up with those other teams, but like I said a hot goalie can carry you a far way. I'm looking foward to their next game, hopefully they will medal.
