Absolutely beautiful day at Belmont yesterday ! Warm, sunny, no clouds unlike Churchill

. Mr. Pompa was very cordial and appreciative of all the owners and guests that came to support Toy Cannon. Was nice to meet so many of the co-owners!
Toy looked great in the paddock. Trainer Mott's assistant used a shadow roll for the first time Mr. Pompa pointed out as did many of the others.
Although we didn't get the win, the place/show payouts assured us we at least broke even on across the board wagering and I told some of the crew my fear of getting upset by the #1 horse which I played several times in an exacta to at least make it a profitable second place finish !
Hope to see you all next week at the Big Sandy to watch Pal race.
